Principle
Acetobacter Agar (Glucose) provides essential nutrients, growth factors, and glucose as an energy source to support the growth of acetic acid bacteria. Preparation
- Suspend the recommended quantity of dehydrated medium in purified water.
- Heat with frequent stirring until the medium dissolves completely.
- Sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes.
- Cool the medium to 45–50°C.
- Pour into sterile Petri dishes and allow to solidify before use.
